If you have not time to come to Italy to study Italian language, Scuola Toscana offrers you two ways to learn Italian at home: “Leonardo” course, to improve your writing, reading and grammatical skills and “Skype” course , to improve your listening and communicative skills.

Both of them are also suitable to prepare different exams in Italian language.

Leonardo distance learning course

Italian distance learning The people at the Scuola Toscana can be near to you even if you are away: "LEONARDO" is the name of our distance learning course of Italian language you can do at home.

This course is composed of 8 different lessons (exercises in grammar, texts, conversations, tapes etc.) that you will receive directly at home, via E-mail, fax or airmail.

The idea is that you can go on with the course you have started while in Florence, keeping in contact with YOUR teacher at the Scuola Toscana: Francesca, Maria Paola, Alberto, Edoardo, Samanta, Caterina, Daniela, Nadia... just name her/him and she/he will teach you again, directly at your home!

What should you do, to start with your LEONARDO course ?

Very easy: Please write a short text in Italian (about half a page) about the things you would like to do, and send it together with your address

SKYPE ITALIANO! - Learn Italian from home!

Dear student,

here's a clear and simple idea for you to keep on studying italian from home or your office.

Choose the hour package you want and start speaking with your teacher from Scuola Toscana right away on Skype!

You can improve your italian wherever you want, whenever you'd like.

HOW MANY CHOICES ARE THERE? HOW MUCH DO THEY COST?

There are 3 packages:

WHICH LEVELS IS THE COURSE FOR?

Any level, from beginners to higher levels, the theme of the conversation will be adapted to the level of the student, from daily conversation to cultural topics or the topics you want to talk about, just like an one-to-one class.

Keep in mind that while enrolling for the course, you can also ask for a teacher that speaks your mother-tongue (english, german, spanish, japanese)

HOW DO I START THE COURSE?

Send us an e-mail (or by using Skype from the school's website: www.scuola-toscana.com) including your name, surname, birth date and with information on your previous studies on italian (at Scuola Toscana or other schools).

You will receive your confermation via e-mail/skype right away and start practising you italian.

WHEN / HOW CAN I CALL SCUOLA TOSCANA WITH SKYPE?

Between 8:30 and 16:30 CET. If you'd like to call us out of this timetable, let us know and we'll be happy to help you.

To call us from Skype, you need to have the programme installed to your computer (which can be downloaded for free on internet).

HOW LONG DOES ONE LESSON TAKE?

There are no limits, you are free to decide how long you want to chat. You have only 15 minutes a day in your lunch break?

You have only thursday afternoons free? You want to do 3 hours for one week and then you'll be going away for holidays?

You can do how you like! Everytime that you use Skype, your minutes will be calculated automatically and you'll see the countdown.

If you studied at Scuola Toscana before and want to keep on using your books, communicate with your teacher and you can work on the books with him, just like when you were at school.

If you studied at Scuola Toscana, you'll have 15% discount!
