Why Accademia Italiana di Lingua (A.I.L.) exams ?
There are many exam of Italian languages in Italy, offered by different istitutions, schools, universities. In Italy, as in other countries, no exam is officially recognised by the State, by the Ministry of Education or by any Government agency. An "official exam of Italian as second language" simply does not exist. Scuola Toscana has chosen the exams of A.I.L., Accademia Italiana di Lingua, because:
- they are internationally renown since 1982
- they offer a wide choice of levels and applications
- they are adjudicated according to objective criteria
- they are continuously checked and reviewed by a scientific commitee of European experts.
